New Template Freebie
I've been working on a new template and I'm ready to share it. Get either the Paintshop or the Photoshop link. I know everything is shifting toward Christmas right now, but I'm sure you still have plenty of fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving photos to scrap! Please let me see some of your work. Also, please leave me some feedback. I really do appreciate those of you who have given me advise! Enjoy the freebie. By the way, the template for the leaves and the journaling blocks were picked up at The Ephemeral Victorian.

"Let's Eat"
My friend Lydia owns one of those places where you go and prepare your own meals and bring them home to cook. It's called Let's Eat and there are franchises in the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia and Maryland. If you are viewing from one of those states just click on the link and see where there is one near you.
If you don't have time to prepare the meals yourself you can use the pick up service. Lydia's location offers delivery as well. In fact, she has an arrangement with the local school system where she delivers prepared meals to the teachers twice a month at the end of the work day. All they have to do is take them home and put them in the freezer. Everything is ordered online. It doesn't get much easier than that!
Let's Eat also offers gift certificates. What a perfect gift for new parents! Or perhaps someone you know is taking care of an ill loved one and never has time to cook for themselves. Maybe you have a brother or father who lives alone and could use some homecooking.
You can also set up a party for you and your friends to go to the store and prepare your meals together. It is a great way to spend quality time with the family as well. The kids are invited to come and help prepare the meals.
Can you tell I am sold on the idea? Check it out.

WinRAR vs ZIP
Some of you may not know how to download my zips because they are .rar. Here is a program you can download that will replace your regular unzip program and do both regular zips and .rars.
Another digital scrapbooking site that uses .rar is Lorri's Scraps and More. Check out her site. It is full of freebie templates. Just please don't forget to come back here! I'm just a beginner compared to her! LOL

Steelers Win...and a new FREEBIE
Good morning. How 'bout those Steelers last night? What a mess that game was in the pouring rain and the mud. Anyway, my fiance' is happy today following the 3-0 victory!
As promised here is a new freebie for your digital scrapbooking collection. This is my second template and it was inspired by a trip to Colorado. If you have never been, I reccomend you see Pike's Peak. It is awesome!
On a more somber note, news broke this morning that the Washington Redskins player who was shot yesterday passed away. Sean Taylor was a 2003 All-American at the University of Miami.
Moving on, please enjoy the new freebie and please let me see some of your layouts! Also, pass my blog link on to anyone you know who likes scrapbooking, sports and/or fitness.
See you later!

Hello Out There!!
Well, I'm playing around with my blog to make it better and I'm waiting for everyone to come and visit. I'm checking around to see how to make myself more visable to the digital scrapbooking community. If you see this please give me some advice! I've gotten this far all on my own...which makes me feel pretty good about this "old dog!"
I have another freebie to post in the next day or so. Tonight I am back to the gym to teach a Pilates reformer class followed by a jumpboard interval traning class. I've already taught the jumpboard this morning as well as a Spinning class and a Pilates mat class. Mondays are my BUSY day!
Please contact me if you have any questions about anything fitness. If I don't know the answer I will probably know where to look for it. Check out my body fat caculator at the bottom of this page. You'll be suprised at the results...but don't let that get you down. I once weighed 210 pounds and wore a size 24. At 5' 1" tall that wasn't a pretty sight! But now my weight is under control (for 10 years) so you can do it if I can do it!
Enough for now. Please pass this site on to your friends.
Oh, don't forget the Steelers on Monday Night football. It will be a late night tonight!

First ever template...and first ever attempt to upload it!
Here is your first freebie. I was messing around with it to see if it worked ok and here is the layout I made.I can't wait to see what you can do with it! SORRY, this link has expired.
First Post
Well, this is my first attempt at a blog. I'm having a few minor issues with the page layout so the page may change before I get it "just right."
This blog is going to cover ideas about scrapbooking, but it is also going to include some of my thoughts and feelings about other things as well.
I'm going to try and provide some freebies as soon as I figure out how to get them onto the blog!! LOL I am trying my hand at making my own templates so I will be sharing them with you from time to time.
Thanks for checking out my new blog and please keep coming back!
