I had a comment on my Ireland template the other day from Ferosh asking about a Northern Ireland template. At first I was a little embarrassed that I didn't remember my world geography and political news well enough to recall that Northern Ireland was indeed a seperate country and not just a major divison of the same country. (Don't laugh, I feel stuipd enough as it is.)
But then the more I thought of it the more I realized that it was never my intention to to put the 2 countries together as one (or you would see them both on the Ireland template.) Instead, I realized that until Ferosh said something that no one had ever requested Northern Ireland while the Ireland template was suggested to me at the very beginning of the Countries of the World Template Series.
So it was never my intention to put the two countries together as one. In an attempt to mend any damage done to both Ireland and Northern Ireland, I have made the Northern Ireland Template as quickly as I could. I'd hate to be the start of something over there or damage international relations betwen those countries and the United States!

LOL!! Maybe you better quick do a Wales template! And a big "Great Brittan" template with England, Scottland and Wales all together - boy, will that be one busy template!!

All kidding aside, there really is a huge difference between the two halves (much like Israel/Palestine would be) -- and I'm right happy that you took the time for ol' Ulster.

Yes I'd LOVE a layout from you. And I understand completely. Like I said, I guess I knew it, but it was in that old overstuffed file cabinet I call a brain. Who knows where that piece of info went. I think it was all offical when I was a new mother and not really paying attention to anything but the baby! (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! LOL)
Hey Deltapdawn, just wandered into the digiscrap depot and your NI template jumped off the screen, I personally love to see the island as a whole with just a colour distinction separating the two territories. But as I was born in the North and now live in the South, I'm delighted to see the wee province highlighted in your template. try this...download both templates. Open them in seperate windows. Copy the Northern Ireland map and then paste it into the Ireland template. It should fit but the size may have to be adjusted a little. Let me know if this works.
