Halloween Kit Freebie

Well, it certainly got chilly here in Florida! I love it. Now don't get me wrong...anything colder than it is right now and I don't think I'd like that.

That's one reason why fall is my favorite time of the year: it is cooler but not freezing cold. I hope this stays this way at least until Halloween because we are spending my birthday at Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly known as Disney MGM.)

We hate going to the theme parks in the summer when it is so hot you are miserable all day. One year we were at Universal Studios and it was so cold there was hardly anyone there at all.

We had gone that late in the year because we wanted to see the Macy's Parade. Well we had no lines in any of the rides because most people stayed away until later in the afternoon towards time for the parade. It was like having the park as a private playground!

Anyway...enough about that (can't you tell I'm excited about the cooler weather??!!) If you have managed to keep reading this far down then you get to download todays's digital scrapbooking freebie: the Halloween Kit!

Mickey Mouse Collection 1 Add On Freebie

Here is the Mickey Mouse Collection 1 Add On I promised yesterday. Thanks so much to everyone who commented on here or on Disboards.com about copyrights and legal stuff. I am pondering the entire thing and certainly can see both sides of the copyright thing.

But I will leave this kit and the Mickey Mouse Collection 1 from yesterday up on my site as long as I am allowed to do so. I seriously doubt the Mickey Police will come knock on my door. If they do, I'll go quietly. Who could argue with Mickey?

Ok, Lisa here you are! How about this Mickey Mouse Collection 1 freebie? I hope you like this. It was a spur of the moment idea. I got such a great response from my Winnie the Pooh freebie that I thought I might try a Disney themed set.

This kit contains 4 papers, 2 overlays, a frame and 5 other elements.

Of course tomorrow there will be a Mickey Mouse Collection 1 Add On (since I always offer an add on to my sets that are more than just papers.)

Winnie The Pooh Paper Set Freebie

Now that my template series are over I am going to offer some other types of dowloads. I will still make templates, but I want to offer some papers and other elements I have been working on.

Thank you for your kind words concerning my "situation" right now. I don't mean to weep on and on about it, but it is effecting my desire and ability to be creative right now and I wanted you guys to know why things on my blog may not seem "quite right." If you read someone's blog day to day and you see a shift in attitude or emotion then you do wonder what is wrong.


Ok, enough of the pity party! Let's get to the good stuff. Let me first explain that I have been watching people's Disney designs and I am really not sure about copy right and all that. If Disney asks me to stop then I will stop.


I am not making any profit or gaining anything from offering these free images to my readers. Heck, I don't even hit the radar as far as traffic on my blog goes. I am certainly a very small fish in the entire ocean when it comes to the digital scrapbooking world.

I also used an overlay by Pillowgirl to create the textured look on the papers. It came from her Commercial Use Overlays Sampler 1, but I do not think it is still available. I just wanted to give her credit for it.

Orlando Template Freebie

I'm getting ready to say the most controversial thing I have ever put on my blog: there is more to Orlando than Disney World.

I am a big fan of Disney, but sometimes I feel bad for people who have come all the way to Orlando and can't find anything to scrap those OTHER photos with.

Here is your chance to put your Gatorland and Universal Studios pictures somewhere. But of course, there is still the ever-present tribute to Walt and Mickey!

Scrapbook Layout Template Freebie

Because I have been designing so many different templates (99 just for the State Template Series and the Countries of the World Template Series alone) I am trying to keep them fresh by using new and different "outside the box" ideas.

For the Turkey template I used a post card motif. Yesterday for the Norway Template I used a scrapbook layout theme. So today I am offering the Scrapbook Layout Template.

I hope you have fun using this template. I enjoyed making my Disney layout.

Submit Requests for "Major Cities of the World Template Series"

Having closed out the requests for the Countries of the World Template Series last week, I am opening up requests for cities for the Major Cities of the World Template Series.

Here is a list of the already requested cities:

Washington, DC, Orlando, Paris, Chicago, New York, Boston, Las Vegas, Cancun, Nurnberg, Munich and Berlin.

There will be a short break between the two template series so that I can offer some other items I have been working on. I have 13 other Countries of the World Template Series requests to fill. I've designed all but 2 of them!!!!

Remember, look for tomorrow's knock off of today's Norway template. It's called the Scrapbook Layout Template. Here's a sneak peak at the layout I did with it using my Disney World Epcot pictures.

FREEBIE: Florida Template

For those of you who have come to Florida just to visit Disney World, you'll be suprised to know that Disney World is not the only attrraction in the state! Here is a template freebie that the OTHER zillion tourists to Florida can use for digital scrapbooking. Pick up the Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop template. Once again I used The Ephemeral Victorian for help. This time it was the sticky note.

Also be on the lookout for a new kit that coordinates with this template. I know some of you like to design your own pages without the help of a template. Me, I like to do both. Just depends on which mood I'm in. I think I am challeneged more when I have a template to work with because I want my finished layout to be so unique. It's fun to see the totally diferent directions that people take with the same beginning.

By the way, I want to post your layouts with my templates so please let me know if you would like to see your creations on my website. Thanks!
