I am very proud to present this Mother's Day Template. I worked on it for quite some time trying to get it just right. It was inspired by a song that Glen Campbell recorded in the 1970's:
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle
Words and Music by Tedd HarrisHe got here red and wrinkled scared and cryin'.
Then she took him up and held him to her breast.
And he sure was glad to get what mama offered.
Then he went to sleep and put his fears to rest.
It didn't seem to matter what he needed,He could always count on mama to supply.
And regardless of the sleep she might be losin',
He always found a twinkle in her eye.
There ought to be a hall of fame for mamas;
Creation's most unique and precious pearls.
And heaven help us always to remember
That the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.
She taught him all the attributes of greatness,
That she knew he couldn't learn away from home.
And by the time she wore the cover off her bible
Her hair was gray and her little man was gone.
My mother passed away in 1984 at the age of 53. I was not quite 21 yet . She's been gone now longer than I knew her. That seems so strange.
Here's to you, Momma. I miss you!

This is so lovely! thanks for the share! Sadly, I can't seem to find the link to download it! Still, thanks so so much for this lovely work of art!
Thanks! I fixed the link. Sorry!
Thanks for sharing this one. My Mom also passed away at an early age - 56, when I was only 25. And yes, she's been gone longer than I had her. It's getting tougher and tougher to remember. However, she lives in my heart.
Thank you :o)
