Of Course: Here's the Cherries Kit Add On Freebie

Yesterday I offered my Cherries Kit as your digital scrapbooking freebie of the day. So today you will be getting my Cherries Kit Add On.

Included with this kit is a set of numbers from zero to nine. I don't always offer numbers with my alphabets (because I don't have matching numbers to some of my templates I use for the letters.) So today I thought I'd just offer the numbers without an alphabet. Just something different.

This kit offers a little more green than the first one did. Together it about equals out with both colors for the total of the 2 kits. Sometimes it is hard deciding what to offer in the original kit and what to offer in the add on!

Cherries Kit Freebie Today!

The strawberry motif in my Strawberry Fields Forver Quick Page was a hit. So I decided it was time for cherries next!

Here is my Cherries Kit. Many thanks to Scrap N Tag for the CU tag I used. I altered it a bit but I still wanted to give her credit where credit was certainly due!

I am struggling right now with creative ideas. It seems the well has dried up! LOL So if there is anything you'd like to see I will be glad to give it a try. Please send your requests and suggestions to my email address.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Freebie: Stamps Template

Here is a real basic template that is greared toward beginners...but anyone can use it. The "special feature" of this template is that the placement of the elements, journaling and photos is laid out for you to see.

When designing your layout you would simply delte the guiding words as you fill in each square. The template itself will tell you what needs to be deleted by looking in the layers window as you start your work.

Of course you don't have to follow these guides if you want to put a photo where I suggested journaling, etc. This template is sort of the best of both worlds: easy enough for a beginner and adaptable for someone with a little more experience with templates!

Here is the Stamps Template download. Have fun!!!

Quick Page Freebie: Strawberry Fields Forever

Today's digital scrapbooking freebie is a Quick Page. I also call these types of pages All In One because it is everything together and all you have to do is add a picture.

Here is the Strawberry Fields Forever Quick Page. I hope you can use it with your photos. I know a lot of people love strawberry motifs!

Also this quick page could be used if you have gone to NY City and gone to Central Park to the John Lennon Strawberry Fields Memorial.

Here's the Freebie I Promised: Quilt Block Collection Add On

Wow, what sweet comments on my post from yesterday (Quilt Block Collection.) I'm glad you liked my little "country" offering.

Today (as I usually do when I have a kit) I am offering the matching add on. Grab the Quilt Block Collection Add On now and you can create several really cute pages with the different papers and elements.

Your Layouts!

Here's a layout from Sandy that uses some of my Quilt Block Collection. GREAT JOB! Thanks for sharing!

A Freebie For Everyone: Quilt Block Collection

This may not be your "typical" quilt block, but when I went through my grandmother's quilts I did not find one single quilt that was exactly symertic, with matching colors, etc. What I found was the true essence of what quilts are all about.

My grandmother was born in 1898 and passed away when my son was in kindergarten. She and my grandfather were plain, simple "country folk" from North Carolina. My grandfather was a Baptist preacher. Since money was hard to come by in those days (my dad was born in 1931) a lot of things had to be homemade.

My grandmother used whatever was available to make her quilts. Sometimes the colors didn't quite go together (but of course now they are considered folk art.) She used scraps from something like maybe an old shirt or pair of pants to make the quilts that kept my dad and his 5 brothers and sisters warm in the winter in those NC mounatins.

Although the "commercial" quilts are beautiful and I know a lot of love goes into making them, I still love my grandmother's 'rag-tag' quilts the best.

Here is my tribute to the good old country quilt: the Quilt Block Collection. Notice I threw in an alphabet in this collection. And don't forget to come back tomorrow when I will offer the Quilt Block Collection Add On!

Attention Cat Lovers: Cats Freebie

Monday again! Wow, these weeks are flying by. It is almost September already! No wonder it seems like just yesterday that my son was born and now he is 21! If you missed my Happy Birthday Template yesterday to celebrate his birthday, don't forget to check it out!

Anyway, today's digital scrapbooking freebie is a collection of 40 cats Yes, you read right: 40! Of course some of the cats are whimsical but I tried to make as many designs as I could. I know if you love cats then it doesn't matter if it is blue or if it has poka dots, you still love cats!

I figure you can use these cats to match the colors of your layouts and/or photos. Here is the CATS download. I hope you like them!

Today's Freebie: A Happy Birthday Template For My Son

Oh my God! My son is 21 today!!! Wasn't it just yesterday he was a little tiny baby? Where has all the time gone? He'll be starting his senior year in college tomorrow!

I remember his first day of kindergarten. He had to start school on his birthday. I brought homemade cupcakes and he really thought school was special!!! LOL

In recognition of my son's big day, I am offering this Happy Birthday Template. The picture I used for my layout isn't all that clear, but it is my precious little boy and I used it anyway!

Congratulations to JR Motorsports

Hats off to JR Motorsports' driver Brad Keselowski (88) who won the Nationwide Series race last night at Bristol. Brad's owner? Dale Earnhardt, Jr!

Freebie: Totem Pole Elements

Here is something a little unusual for you today. These are some embellishments with a totem pole motiff.
I am not claiming to know anything at all about totem poles and which ones belong with which Indian tribe. I just thought they were neat looking and wanted to share them.

This would be great for home schoolers so that they could learn more about Native Americans.

Here is the Totem Pole Elements download for your enjoyment. Let me know if you like them!

Stretch The Memories Template Freebie

Here is today's digital scrapbooking freebie for you to enjoy. I noticed that someone who came to my blog had been searching Google for a panoramic template. See, I get my inspiration from many different places!

So here is the Stretch Your Memories Template. Refer back to my post on June 12th where I introduce a panoramic photo program that I have had great success with.

Have fun s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g your memories!!!! LOL

I decided to darken the shadow on the picture after I added the background I had chosen. You may want to keep it the color it is on the template or you can add any color you want.

Once again, be creative and experiment. You can always change it back if you don't like it!

Freebie: Weave Papers

I was playing around with the Effects in Paint Shop Pro last week and I decided to experiment a little with the weave effect. The results are in this Weave Papers download.

My advice to you is to download the set and look at the detail very closely. Some of the patterns turned out pretty good! Others, while still nice, just don't have the depth that some of these papers do.

Remember, you can use papers as patterns to use with your Paint Bucket or Fill tool. Just save them in your photo program's pattern folder.

Hurricane A Coming!

Update real quick, we are about to get it up the ...well you know...in the state of Florida tonight and tomorrow. A Cat 1 Hurricane is supposed to come inland near Sarasota and travel up thru Central Florida on to Jacksonville and points beyond.

I have uploaded your freebie for tomorrow already. Seeing that I live in Central Florida, I am sort of waiting to see how bad we get rain and wind and flooding. My biggest concern is loss of electricity. That's what happenens when the bad stroms filter over into our area. Usually we miss out, but this one looks headed sort of this way.

So If I am not online you will know why. : )

A Day at the Farm Template Freebie

Here is a cute little template that I thought would be a little different. Even if you live in the big city, it is always nice to go for a drive in the country.

Now you have a template for those pictures! It's called the A Day at the Farm Template.

Go very light on the tolerance on your Paint Bucket (or Fill) effect so that you can add several colors to the field scene. Too heavy tolerance will color everything that one color. So play around with it for effect!

SOX Freebie

Here are some socks to use for your layouts. There are 10 pair included, plus a "template" pair that you can color any way you want.

Grab this SOX set right now! I thought it was a cute idea. Let me know your opinion!
Also, please show me some of your "sox styles." I'd really like to see what you can do with this one!

Celestial Collection Add On Freebie Today

Better late then never...internet problems this morning! But I'm online now and here is your digital scrapbooking freebie for today: Celestial Collection Add On .

This is the companion to my offering yesterday: Celestial Collection. Get both of these because they have some neat papers and things in them.

I'm going to spend this weekend designing new kits and such because I have fallen way behind what with my move and all. Thanks to everyone inquring about how things are going.

My son has gone back to school and so last night I spent my first night alone in my new apartment. And guess what: I survived! LOL

Friday Freebie: Celestial Collection

I saw this moon and the idea for this kit just took off from there. Here is the Celestial Collection for your enjoyment.
I have always loved this motif and the colors so I thought I would send something like this your way.

I decided not to add any texture or shadows to this so that you can do your own. See how thick and rich you can make the colors by playing around in Effects (with textures and drop shadows.)

Drop Shadow Hint: Sometimes I rotate my image and do a drop shadow for each rotaion. Just remember to merge the images after each drop shadow or the shadows won't line up!

Come back tomorrow for the Celestial Collection Add On (which includes an alphabet.)

Back To School Template Freebie and a Teacher HINT!

It's just about that time of year for the little ones (and maybe not so little ones) to be headed back to school. In honor of that occasion, I am offering a few back to school specials!!

The first offering is called simply Back To School Template. Not too hard to figure this one out! I'm sure every one has pics to go with this template.

Teacher HINT:If you are a school teacher you (or a volunteer parent) could take photos of your new class as they come in with their parents (like kindergarden or 1st grade) and make a special bulletin board so those homesick kids could kind of still have Mom and/or Dad around.

It wouldn't be hard to print one of these out, make copies and have the kids color them and then you could paste the photos in the "frames."

It's just an idea and I don't know if it would be practical or not. Let me know what you think!

She used my London Template from the Major Cities of the World Template Series.

The France Template is from my Countries of the World Template Series.

Thanks, Ladypatsfan for sharing another few layouts! I love to see how people use my designs!

Backyard Friendships Template Freebie

Once I started on this template I really began to like it more and more. I hope you guys have plenty of pictures to use for this one!

Here is the Backyard Friendships Template.
Please pass my blog address around...I'm not getting much traffic at all. I have hooked up to places where you use their link to draw people to your site and I am using Digi Free and Digi Scrap Depot.

If Idon't get much more traffic I'm afraid this isn't really worth the effort I'm putting into it! And that is a real shame because I enjoy designing. However, it really is very discouraging to put hours into designing something and only 12 people in the entire world with computers download it!

So help me out if you can! Thanks!!!

Freebie: Fuzzy Boxes Template

Here's a quick, fun template that I'm offering today. I call it Fuzzy Boxes Template.

Thanks for all your kind comments the past few days. I am trying to unpack now. You should see my scrapbooking space. It is piled high with boxes!

It's hard to scrap now because all my photos are of me and my former fiance'. So I don't really want to make MORE memories of us right now.

It's that way with my digital scrapbooking too. That's why there isn't a layout with this template. Sorry.

Curled Ribbons Freebie

A BIG thanks to Scrap N Tag for use of her CU Curled Ribbon template. I used the sculpture effect in Paint Shop Pro to color the ribbons and give them texture and depth.

Check them all out. I'm sure you'll fine something that catches your eye!

The move went well...7 hours it took them to get my stuff over here and it is only 5 minutes down the road! LOL Now comes the unpacking part...aarrgghh!!

So here is my version of Scrap N Tag's Curled Ribbons.

A Moving Day Template Freebie

Right now my computer is "resting" as it is waiting to be rehooked up in my new apartment. I'm using the scheduler on Blogger to post this ahead of time so I don't miss a day of getting you your freebie!
In honor of me moving yesterday (and still unpacking and waiting on cable, internet, etc. hook ups today) I am offering the Moving Day Template.

Enjoy!

Freebie: Ship's Wheel Collection Add On

Today is moving day so I want to get this posted before they unhook my computer. Here is the Ship's Wheel Collection Add On.

This part of the kit contains an alphabet, photo corners, a journaling banner and an extra paper.

Yesterday I offered the Ship's Wheel Collection. I'm glad you like it! I've gotten some really nice comments from downloaders.

I did get a couple of messages on 4 Shared about not being able to download this kit. I can access it right away and many others have downloaded it. I can't imagine what the problem could be. I'm very sorry! I don't think it is on this end, but pehaps a problem with 4 Shared.

P.S. The preview for this add on looks horrible. I had to resize the .jpg it to get it on here. Please don't judge the quality of the kit by this bad picture!

Ship's Wheel Collection Freebie

Thank you for your great comments on yesterday's digital scrapbooking freebie, the Lighthouse Alphabet. I'm really glad you liked it! As you know, I LOVE lighthouses!

Keeping with the nautical theme, I am offering a new kit (and add on) called Ship's Wheel Collection. Look for the add on to the kit tomorrow.

The colors here are deep red, dark blue and gold. The elements and papers have a deep texture that I just love! I used extra shadows to give the wheel a very strong "lift" off the paper.

Usually I would get my fiance' to look at something and give me his opinion, but this time my son helped me out a little. He's been a HUGE comfort to me during this hard time. It is only fitting that he be a part of this aspect of my life too! He's a wonderful son and I am so lucky to have him!!!!

Lighthouse Alphabet Freebie

Starting today and continuing for a couple of more days, my digital scrapbooking freebies are going to have a nautical theme. Today the theme is lighthouses. So here is the Lighthouse Alphabet freebie.

If you missed my other freebies that could go with this download then check out the following:

Come back tomorrow for a nautical themed kit (and of course the next day for the add on.)

Love Letters Template Freebie

How bizarre is it that I am actally offering this particular template at a time when my own personal relationship has fallen apart?

Well, here is the Love Letters Template anyway, no matter how strange it seems! LOL

I'm hoping this is sort of a kind of therapy for me. I couldn't bring myself to design a layout with our pictures so if someone will send me one of their layouts so I can post it I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Last Freebie in the 6 Paper Series: 6 Red Papers

Wow! Has it already been eight days since I started this series? Can you tell I have lost ALL track of time? Here is the 8th and final installment of the 6 Paper Series.

This last set of this series is the 6 Red Papers download.

Look for a special template for tomorrow's digital scrapbooking freebie.
